Santa and Preeto were driving from Delhi to Hoshiarpur. While Preeto was behind the wheel, they were pulled over by the highway patrol. "Ma'am, did you know you were speeding?" the cop said.

Preeto, hard of hearing, turned to Santa Singh and asked, "What did he say?"

"He said you were speeding!" Santa Singh yelled.

The cop then asked, "May I see your license?"

Preeto turned to Santa Singh again, "What did he say?"

Santa Singh yelled back, "He wants to see your license!" Preeto gave the cop her license.

"I see, you are from Hoshairpur!," the cop said. "I spent some time there once and went on a blind date with the ugliest woman I've ever seen."

Preeto turned to Santa Singh again and asked, "What did he say?"

Santa Singh replied, "He said he knows you!"
